The ability to adapt and help our customers
All Chinook Windows exceed Energy Star qualifications for the northern climate zone and are NFRC certified. Our vinyl windows are built to withstand the harshest climate that Montana has to offer and that is why we are still a preferred window manufacturer and distributor for the past 25 years!
We offer a variety of operating styles to meet the needs of our customers. The ability to adapt and help our customers through the design process allows our customers to get exactly what they want from the manufacturer. The various styles we produce are:
- Single and Double Sliding Windows
- Single and Double Hung Windows
- Casement and Awning Crank Windows
- Picture, Arch, Trapezoids and other specialty products
- Bays, Bows and Garden Windows
Double Hung Windows
Double-Hung windows have two sliding sashes for efficient ventilation. They can be raised from the bottom or lowered from the top with sashes that tilt in for easy cleaning.
"X-O" and "X-O-X" Windows
An "X-O" window - the most common - will have the left side operable and the right side fixed. A large window with a fixed center pane and two side sliders would be an "X-O-X."
Single-Hung windows have a single movable sash, raised from the bottom for ventilation, while the top stays stationary
Picture windows are stationary, rectangular, non-opening windows that allow light into the room.
Garden Windows have shelves used for plants and herbs. They provide lots of light and ventilation. It is important to choose an energy efficient vinyl garden window to keep the interior of your home comfortable.
Casement windows are hinged on either side and crank open outward to the left or right allowing for full top to bottom ventilation
A hopper window is a small window that opens downward and inward. It is commonly installed as a bathroom or basement window. The upward tilt of the window glass pane blocks open dirt and debris from getting into your home. It usually can be opened with a crank or hinge.
Single Slider Windows
Single slider windows are a popular choice among homeowners. As the name infers, they slide horizontally to open and close. Some refer to them as glider windows or horizontal slider windows. They have sashes that slide from side to side and they are housed in a single frame.
Bay and Bow Windows
Bay and Bow windows are created by combining three or more windows together so that they angle out beyond the house wall. They can be casement, double-hung or picture units depending on the need. By using more windows, bay and bow windows allow more light in and also give you extra space inside your room.
Double Slider Windows
Double Slider Windows. Double slider windows open by moving the window sashes from one side to the other. The window sashes also tilt, making cleaning a breeze. Basic in their design, double slider vinyl windows blend well with other windows that are being replaced and are custom built to fit a given space perfectly.
